Okay I normally wouldn't do this, given the sometimes irrational rivalry between MOBAs, but since it came up organically on your last podcast allow me to shill hard for Wild Rift...

I played LoL passively for about 2 years (2013-2015) and immediately shifted to HotS when it came out. I would still watch LoL big tournaments, but lost all interest in playing except the occasions when friends convinced me to play it.

I think we all know the consensus opinion of league...too many nuanced little details, too long, and TOXIC. I tend to agree.

Enter Wild Rift, a glorious rebuttal to those concerns. The games are shorter, 20 minutes is a long Wild Rift game. The items, laning and hero choices, objectives, all simplified but not too much in my opinion. Tutorials are great. Toxicity severely limited...it's a chore to type or even spam ping. These things DO happen but in the last 20 or so ranked games I've played I can think of one toxic individual who rose to the point of being noteworthy. It's just LoL but so much better. Also, it's so nice to play a MOBA that is actively doing new things, events, adding champs, skins...I feel bad about not playing HotS but it's just been way way more fun on Wild Rift.

Oh, and Kiye is 100% correct, a tablet is almost required.  That's the end of my shilling. If you guys do a Wild Rift podcast I'm there.

Thank you for reading my Donut Kael'thas idea! I forgot to mention that the inner circle could be big as a hitbox of an average hero. So, for example, a Raynor can easily dodge a Flamestrike if he dares to stand still.

Moving on.

Here's an idea for a Nova rework:

Nova's Holo Decoy is now replaced by a drone. The drone is invisible, reveals enemies and marks them for additional damage. Talents for the drone could include things such as debuffing enemies in its AoE, buffing allies, as well as granting temporary invisibility. Nova's basic attack against enemy heroes marked by her drone can proc additional effects.

Nova's Snipe now no longer stacks. Instead it pierces through targets. The damage is reduced on targets that are hit after it pierces through an enemy. Talents could include things such as cooldown reduction when hitting multiple heroes, or damage over time when hitting only one target.

Hope you guys have a happy holiday and Merry Christmas!
