I honestly think this specific issue is an issue with the players moreso. Other than Azyrite, the players on Granit have shown they don’t really care about the league, not practicing or anything. I’d like to think this is a one-time thing that happened because of a work event or something, but it seems to me moreso that the players are really only doing this “for funzies” and the check. Stinks when that’s the case with big names like this, but it’s not even the first time, since there was an EU team in HGC that basically did the same thing (just showed up for their game to get paid and nothing else).

The only real issue I have with the org itself is that they consistently pick players based on nationality, preferring Swedes, then anyone in Europe. Seasons 1 & 2 they benched their single NA player until the end of the season, then performed better once they finally let the NA player play. Season 3 they only picked up some NA players halfway through the season when they were struggling immensely. For me they seem to just be more concerned about getting their friends and cool people on their team over actually making a competitive roster, and that’s kinda been the case since even before CCL
