PROJECT:
This survey is conducted by the Institute of Health Policy & Management (iBMG) of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, The Netherlands, as part of the EU funded Horizon 2020 project which aims at developing and validating a new imaging technology called Spectral Photon Counting CT (SPCCT) and contrast media.
SPCCT will allow earlier diagnosis by means of a high spatial resolution combined to the newly developed contrast agent.

RATIONALE:
There is a need to assess the current local clinical practice in order to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of the SPCCT-based strategy for diagnosing and treating MI patients in different European countries.

GOAL:
This clinician survey is meant to assess the current diagnosis and treatment patterns of acute MI patients in European countries.

TARGET:
The survey is targeted at cardiologists, PCI operators, radiologists and emergency physicians (including those completing their specialisation).

RESULTS:
The results will be analysed, reported to the European Commission and shared via a publication in a scientific journal. The responses to the survey will be collected anonymously, individual information will not be used for commercial purposes or transferred to other third parties and any information you provide will be kept strictly confidential.
